I have the pleasure of writing to you this morning from Oru El Saltador.

This is the exciting next chapter in Oru’s journey - an off-grid retreat centre with 81 acres of land, nestled between the desert, mountains and the sea.

We arrived here yesterday, as the sun began to soften over the Sierra Alhamilla hills.

We have taken some of our team and a couple of our Lead Investors to meet the wonderful Claudia, the current owner, who has built and managed this site for over 27 years now.

We are feeling incredibly honoured to be chosen to take on this project.

Over the past few weeks, we have made an incredible amount of progress in bringing Oru El Saltador to life and wanted to let you know four important updates:

Over 100 of you joined us for our recent Evening on El Saltador investor events, and thanks to your energy and belief in our vision, we’ve now raised £600k of our £700k target!

We’re ahead of schedule on our raise and well on our way to hitting our stretch goal too.

This momentum means we’ll be able to complete the acquisition sooner and begin the next phase of development at El Saltador.

Oru El Saltador Ltd is a newly established UK company, formed specifically to acquire and operate the El Saltador property and venue in Spain.

It is owned by Vibushan, Paul, and incoming investors, and is entirely separate from Oru Space Ltd to isolate risk and manage investment-specific governance. You can learn more about the function and structure here.
