It’s Official: Oru Site 4, welcome to Oru Limehouse…
We've never been in a rush. From the day we opened Oru Dulwich, the philosophy has been the same: grow when it's right, not because someone tells you to move faster. We have made sure that impact hasn’t been an afterthought and instead, woven into our business model. We operate community, wellness, work, and hospitality across different buildings, different neighbourhoods, each with its own story. Oru Sutton followed Dulwich. Then, Oru El Saltador in Almería, our retreat surrounded by the rolling Andalusian hills. And now, at the right moment, we're ready to share the next chapter.
Welcome to Oru Limehouse. 27k sq ft on Commercial Road, Zone 2, north of the river, in a Grade II listed building that was once a sailmaker's workshop, our most central location yet, and every bit as intentional as the three that came before it. No two of our sites are the same, because no two communities are the same. What holds it all together is the belief we started with: that the spaces we spend our days in can be genuinely good for people, for communities, and for the world around us. Oru Sutton is in an exciting period of development. There’s a great deal happening behind the scenes, with plans set to come to life over the coming year and beyond our walls. The wider regeneration of the high street is progressing, with Oru right at the heart of it.
Imagine this: a rooftop spa in the heart of Sutton…
We are super excited to announce that we are creating a rooftop spa on the 5th floor of our building! It will have an outdoor cold plunge and jacuzzi, along with treatment rooms and a relaxing outdoor space. This will be opening in the coming months, and we can’t wait to unveil this to you. If, like us, you’re as excited about this as we are, then you can preregister your interest in the Spa and be the first on the list for a membership.

We’ve got some more good news: from April, parking hours are being extended, meaning later access for those driving in. More time to work, take a class, or catch an evening event, without the rush. We're also welcoming an immersive crèche to the ground floor. A playful, exploratory space for little ones, so you can make the most of the workspace and wellness offering, knowing your kids are happy and looked after nearby.
Next up, and it’s BIG: Reformer is coming to Oru Sutton! Yes, you heard that right. We're partnering with a local fitness studio to bring Reformer Pilates into the town hall, and pre-registration is open now. You heard it here first, more updates to cone- keep your eyes peeled…
We've saved the biggest Sutton news for last… Oru Sutton is now officially a licensed wedding venue.
The building that began as a place to work, move, eat and connect is now somewhere you can mark the most meaningful moments of your life too.
From ceremonies in our exposed-brick Town Hall to rooftop celebrations surrounded by greenery, Oru offers a space that flows effortlessly from vows to feasting to late-night dancing with sustainability and purpose at the hrart. With vibrant, seasonal Sri Lankan and vegetarian food from our in-house kitchen, and an experienced events team that truly cares, we think it’s a pretty special place to say I do.
New Season, New Menu!
Last week, we celebrated the Spring Equinox and welcomed in the new season on the rooftop in Sutton as our Community Gardener, Greta, shared a lovely, heartfelt message to the garden. To further commemorate the beginning of Spring, we are launching a brand new Spring menu at Trinco Dulwich, incorporating seasonal ingredients and flavours, as well as a brand new cocktail menu as well!
We are going to be hosting two evenings to launch this menu, where you’ll have the opportunity to taste the new dishes, all for £35 per person! Join us on either the 16th or 17th April to be the first to taste our delicious new menu. See you there!
If you were reading about the spa in Sutton as a Dulwich local and you felt a twinge of jealousy, then fear not! We have something very exciting coming soon to our Dulwich site! We are upgrading the ground floor in Dulwich to include a 14-person sauna along with showers. Keep your eyes peeled for more updates on this. We can’t wait for you to witness the transformation! We’re accelerating the build: it’s going much better & quicker than we planned!
We’re three retreats down, and it’s all systems go at Oru El Saltador! It’s super exciting to witness the build of a brand new dorm room- this will allow us to offer accessible retreat spaces without compromising on comfort or privacy. These dorms will allow guests to have a private pod within the dorm room, designed by our architects, SelgasCano. We are also designing a natural bio swimming pool- more updates to follow!
From the conception of Oru El Saltador, it has been really important to us that our retreats are accessible to all. We know how important retreats are, offering you a chance to reset, restore and connect to aspects of yourself that we don’t usually have the opportunity to meet. The community and friendship that can be cultivated on retreats is so different to anything else, and we are also so proud to welcome such a diverse group of people on our retreats.
We also have several new retreats that have been added to the schedule, and they are all live! From our very first Pilates retreat with Jen in July, to a Yoga & Nature connection retreat with Alex & Tim in September or an opportunity to connect to the elements with Monica & Anga on their Elemental Reset Retreat in November.
