Booking Policies
Entry Requirements
You must hold a suitable foundational yoga/relevant movement modality certification in order to attend
A reference or proof may be requested upon booking
During the training
If you have symptoms of COVID-19, please do not attend the studio. In cases of absence related to COVID-19, we will give you options to catch up, either by joining virtually if you are well enough to do so or by completing further assignments with your mentor;
In case of sickness or unforeseen circumstances that might stop you from completing the course on time the option of catching up will be given, however, additional charges will apply;
To receive a certificate you will need to have been present on all modules - or paid for /attended catch-up modules. You will need to have paid all fees.
Behaviours
Lateness: You are required to arrive at the studio on time for training to start. Should you be running late due to unforeseen circumstances, please contact Oru Space directly by phone
Phones: Mobile phones are not to be used during any classes or modules unless specifically requested (ie. to take a photo or video of a posture)
Photos/video: You must ask permission from teachers and other trainees before taking photos/videos and /or sharing anything on social media
Studio etiquette: Please ensure you leave the studio clean and tidy after your training has ended and during breaks. Remove all rubbish, place props/mats back as they were, and clean any mugs/glasses
Illness procedure: Should you experience an illness that prevents you from training, please contact the studio as soon as possible. We will inform the teacher and arrange a suitable time for hours to be made up, or send appropriate homework for you to complete.
Cancellations
If Oru Space Ltd cancels the training you will be given a full refund;
If Oru Space Ltd cancels the training due to COVID-19 you will be given an opportunity to complete the training in some way;
Once training has commenced no refund will be given;
Oru Space cannot be held responsible for reimbursing any uninsured travel arrangements and/or expenses should you not be able to attend the training.
Payments
The non-refundable deposit must be paid to secure your spot
If you cancel the training, you will not get your deposit back unless you can find someone to replace you
The non-refundable deposit must be paid on acceptance to secure your place;
The balance is payable in instalments / a payment plan or in one payment;
All course fees must be settled 8 weeks before the training commences;
We reserve the right to refuse a place to students who have not paid their full fees before the start of the course;
We reserve the right to refuse to provide a certificate of completion to students who have not paid their full fees.

Refund Amount
By 6/08/2025 - 100% refund (exc. deposit)
By 6/09/2025 - 50% refund (exc. deposit) and from there onwards, 0% refund
Health and Safety
You must advise Oru Space prior to the course if you have any illness, injury, other medical conditions, or are currently pregnant, or recovering from pregnancy or surgery
Before booking, please ensure you are physically fit enough to take part in classes, and if you are unsure then we advise that you consult a doctor to ensure you are fit to attend
In case of emergency, we will endeavour to assist you in every way but Oru Space does not take responsibility for any accidents or injuries you may receive on the training
We endeavour to make the training environment a safe place for you, however, we will not take responsibility for any injuries or accidents that occur on the training
Classes and activities are taken at your own risk
Accessibility

Group Cohesion
We operate a zero tolerance policy towards discrimination, harassment and/or bullying. Everybody should feel that they are in a safe environment while with us on this training. Therefore, anybody found to be not abiding by this will be asked to leave.
It is important to us that our community are kind to one another, kind to teachers and Oru Space staff. Any behavioural issues will be addressed and if we cannot come to a solution you will be asked to leave.
Grievance Procedure
We are dedicated to ensuring that all our trainee teachers enjoy the training experience and feel fully able to participate in all aspects of the learning. We are dedicated to ensuring that no student is treated less favourably than any other on grounds of race, religion, gender, age, or sexual orientation. We recognise that from time to time grievances may arise, and if they do, we are committed to ensuring that they are dealt with quickly and fairly. If you are not happy with how the training is being conducted and have cause for concern we would appreciate it if you could let us know immediately. Your complaint will be considered a confidential matter.
